Overview

Beans Tomorrow is a social coffee diary. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We never sell your personal data.

What we collect

  • Account info: email, username, display name, profile photo and hometown.
  • Content you post: coffee logs, ratings, reviews, photos, bean bags, lists, comments and likes.
  • Location: only when you allow it, to show nearby cafés and distances. We don't track you in the background.
  • Notifications: only if you turn them on, we store a device token so we can deliver your alerts and the app icon badge.
  • Basic usage info: device type, how the app was opened (Home Screen or web), and error data that helps us keep the app working.

How we use it

To run your account, show your diary and map, power the social feed, find cafés near you, read coffee bag labels when you scan them, deliver the notifications you've turned on, and improve the app.

What others can see

Your profile, coffee logs, reviews, lists and favorites are visible to other members. Your email, Coffee Passport details and precise location are private.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the app (hosting, sign-in, maps and AI photo reading), when required by law, or with your permission. Signing in with Apple or Google shares basic account details from that provider.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, delete logs, turn off location in your device settings, turn phone notifications and the icon badge on or off anytime in Settings, and ask us to delete your account and data at any time by contacting us.

Security & retention

Your data is stored securely and kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days.

Children

Beans Tomorrow is not intended for children under 13.
